RV Travel Lifestyle

July - August 2021
Magazine

RV Travel Lifestyle, New Zealand’s longest-running NZ-owned motorhome travel publication. We visit NZ’s most beautiful spots north to south from Cape Reinga to Stewart Island and everywhere in between. Hire or buy an RV for an amazing way to explore our pristine and often wild places. We visit cycleways, historic and cultural sites, Department of Conservation parks, stunning beach and mountain destinations to inspire our readers, along with major cities and small towns, and showcase activities from fishing to motor racing, wine tours to music festivals and shopping. We review RVs, and travellers share their experiences. An excellent publication for those travelling around New Zealand to self-drive an RV or car, and see the best NZ can offer.

BOOK GIVEAWAYS ONE COPY OF EACH TITLE TO BE WON! • To enter email the book title as subject to: subs@rvmagazine.co.nz or post to: NZTRV Vol 11 Books, PO Box 220, Martinborough 5711 with your full details, and go in the draw to win. Closes 31 August 2021

3-in-1s • Keep these go-to pantry and fridge staples on hand to use as marinades, dressings or sauces in your meals. A great tip is to have your chosen options made up on a Sunday night to give your midweek meals maximum flavour without you having to spend much time in the kitchen. Double the quantities for larger crowds.

Stack-and-pack portable lunches Each salad serves 1 • These make a perfectly portable meal that can be eaten straight from the container or tipped into a bowl to serve. Simply stack the ingredients, in the order as listed into a screw-top glass jar or container. You can make a few at once so that you’re organised for the days ahead. If you find these aren’t quite satisfying enough, add extra salad vegetables, or increase the amount of grain/carbohydrate.

Upcoming EVENT GUIDE

Fabulous FRANKIA • An experience like no other since 1960

Winter Solar and Batteries • Batteries and solar panels need some attention for winter, and a bit of thought if the vehicle is going into storage. Neil from AA Solar recommends this prewinter check for solar systems.
